Working closely with Nova investors and a wider team of suppliers, the start-up mobile operator was successfully launched in six months and handed to the local operational team.

A Fiwave consultant worked as acting Managing Director of FTTH operator Velocity ! for the launch and post launch period. He was directly responsible for commercial strategy and marketing.

Main business goals achieved:  redefined the sales, marketing and product strategy and changed tactical plans in order to position the company for significant sales growth.

This work included: the development of a new product suite roadmap; development and production of new sales collateral; implementation of a new sales/product training programme, and a new sales plan and sales management regime. There was a positive impact on sales and sales pipeline within weeks of initial implementation.  In addition the requirements definition and implementation plan for a new CRM system (Sugar CRM) was made. However, since the Winet board decided to sell to a larger network services group the CRM work was not commissioned.
